About Us

Student Wellbeing and Support provide individualised and targeted support, guidance and information to all students, to ensure that their journey at UC is the best possible experience.

Our team is comprised of specialised support staff including Wellbeing & International Student Advisors. We are the first point of contact for all students studying at the University of Canberra with regards to any concern or challenge that they may face.

We deliver regular student outreach and engagement programs from Orientation Week onwards, customised guidance with managing studies, access to confidential advice, referrals and support and targeted social activities to foster community and connection. Our events and activities include regular support pop-ups, Wellbeing Walk and Talks, mindfulness sessions, free lunch events, and cultural connection and showcase opportunities.

Our team delivers support, care and connection from a trauma-informed approach and is strongly underpinned by social work theories and practice frameworks. We offer a tiered model of support which ensures that students are connected with our team and supported to achieve their goals in a one-off, short-term or ongoing case management capacity.

We provide confidential support with:
