Community Visitors Scheme

Logan and its surrounding areas has seen a surge in the number of elderly citizens. This has led to a number of new aged care homes opening up to accommodate this growing demographic. A lot of these new aged care residents have little interaction with the outside world and are feeling increasingly lonely. As the number of aged homes grows, so too does the need for community visitors. Add to this the number of existing aged care residents who are receiving little to no visits; it becomes more apparent how desperately community volunteers are needed.
