About Us

Speech Pathologists assist adults and children who have difficulty communicating and/or swallowing due to child developmental delays, stroke, brain injuries, intellectual disability, cerebral palsy, dementia, and hearing loss, as well as other problems that affect speech and language.

• Voice - the basic sound for speech and singing. People may experience changes to their voice e.g., sounding hoarse, husky, being too loud or too quiet

 • Fluency – This includes stuttering and cluttering

• Multimodal Communication – Communication using sign, communication boards and other devices

 • Swallowing – swallowing food, fluid, and saliva management
