About Us

Toowoomba City Rollers (TCR) was formed in 2009 by a small group of women hell-bent on bringing roller derby to Toowoomba. Since this time, we have enjoyed an increase in membership, including adult and junior gender inclusive teams which cater for all participants from social participation to representative level.  We train at Gowrie Junction Progress Association Hall, with different teams and levels training at separate times to support the development of individual and team skills.

TCR is a not-for-profit Incorporated Association run for the members, by the members – volunteerism is our creed, and we operate solely due to the countless hours contributed by our members and supporters. We pride ourselves on being an inclusive league that does not accept discrimination or harassment of any kind. We welcome everyone from every walk of life, and support all individual aspirations and levels of participation! Our league ethos is “Teamwork, Courage, Respect” – and everything we do encompasses these ideas. League members are expected to foster and support this ethos at all times, both inside the league and in the wider community when representing TCR. We are a community who cares about its' members and believes in the positive benefits of active involvement and having fun.
